3rd Announcement regarding US Department of Commerce Tariffs

To Our Valued Customers:

As many of you know, the US Department of Commerce is considering adding an additional round of tariffs on Friday May 10, 2019 to a vast list of products, including flooring, that are manufactured in China. If passed, the resulting effects would be immediate, increasing the price of many products an additional 15%.

While many of the products sold through All Tile and CCS will not be subject to the proposed government‐imposed tariffs, there will be some that will be targeted. Regardless of when the product was ordered, there will be an immediate impact upon the passing of the government tariffs. Many US manufacturers source products from China and other countries. Those products will be subject to tariffs also.

This note is intended to bring to your attention the immediate effects that will occur. While we are not in favor of the tariffs, you should be cognizant in regards to the potential for instantaneous price increases as a direct result of the government rulings if passed. All Tile and CCS are well‐hedged against tariffs and will be able to supply your needs within most of the product categories that are targeted for government required increases.
